Sabor Restaurante & Bar Bahamas

Sabor Restaurant & Bar is located in the marina of the prestigious Pelican Bay Hotel on Grand Bahama Island, Bahamas. We offer a fusion of island specialties and international favorites in a casual covered outdoor setting.

Ferry House

It is located next to the residential area. The menu changes every day depending on the ingredients, fish and fruit that are purchased the same day. It is therefore an a la carte service for dinner. The chef selects the most classic dishes of international cuisine and gives them a Caribbean touch.

Yellow Tail's Bar and Grill

Serves breakfast and lunch. At noon he offers an a la carte menu. This includes salads, fish and sandwiches. If you feel like trying something new one night, you can go to one of the city’s restaurants located next to the hotel.

We originally booked our trip at Viva Fortuna. After four days of misery due to the accomidations, food, and rude spring breakers we escaped and ended up at Pelican Bay. We got a one bedroom suite and it was absolutely perfect. The room was quiet and beautiful with a great view of the harbour. Everything was close by, too. Unfortunately, my vacation did not begin until we came here, but the short time spent here was wonderful. I don't know if I'd ever return to Grand Bahama (I prefer Playa del Carmen, Mexico), but if I do I'll definitely stay here again.

Pelican Bay is located on the island of Grand Bahama. This island in the Bahamas is the one closest to the coast of Florida (80 km to be exact). You don't need to rent a car to go to the city, the hotel is located in a beautiful residential area of Puerto Lucaya. It is close to shops and the city center of Freeport. It is not a place to come as a family, since there are no facilities for children. The property is a destination best suited for couples.

Franklin Lane

We stayed with my partner in a suite. The hotel facilities are very nice and the suite-type room is even more, it is worth it because it has a balcony overlooking a dam. The location is excellent near the shopping center. As to. The public beach that is nearby (Lucaya) I don't know if it is because of the recent hurricane but it is not pretty. Very close to the hotel there is a complex with a private beach where you pay 20 dollars per person to spend the day. Another option, which I thought was the best, was that the hotel has an agreement with a resort in Taiano Beach (you have to ask because the hotel staff never informed us) where they have a private beach and you can also use the hotel pool, which is very nice. . (They have a ferry service from the hotel to take you to that resort but currently due to the hurricane it is not working, you can get there by taxi). The hotel staff has been average, without initiative. Average breakfast. Problems with hot water!!
